- Support the General Manager and catering team with ordering, compliance, client satisfaction, training, and team motivation
- Communicate with catering clients to enter, confirm, and adjust orders as needed
- Collaborate with the client’s hospitality team to coordinate outside catering deliveries and setups
- Oversee daily lunch service, including entering monthly menu orders, verifying production quantities, and ensuring timely, accurate deliveries
- Maintain a high level of service at all times while tracking and reporting daily sales and food waste to the client
- Act as a brand ambassador, educating guests and team members about food and beverage offerings
- Uphold Savory’s hospitality standards with guests and team members, always demonstrating professionalism and care
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels — including clients, upper management, associates, and culinary staff
- Assist with additional responsibilities when catering operations are slower to ensure team support and a smooth workplace experience
The right candidate will reflect these values in everything they do.
- At least 2 years of experience in a food and beverage environment in a supervisor or trainer role
- Proven ability to anticipate guest needs and multitask prioritizing and delegating tasks as needed to ensure success
- Must be organized and able to utilize systems to maximize efficiency, (ability to recognize need for structure and create it if missing is a plus).
- Knowledge of Department of Health food safety best practices
- Quick thinking and conflict resolution skills
- A warm personality, honest values, and the ability to motivate a team
- Ability to remain patient and calm in a high-volume environment
- NY Food Handler’s Certification or willingness to obtain within one month of start date
- Ability to walk and stand throughout entire shift
- Capable of repeatedly lifting and moving up to 25 lbs
